Its likely Sargeant walks away after this episode. Surely lost all motivation. Slap in the face by the team .

Feel sorry for Logan, but this is on Vowles and his inability to deliver whilst leading on making excuses about excel sheet and Ming dynasty line. Capito turned things around and was prematurely let go when he delivered a car that was on time, got points on first race and went to secure P7. James took Williams back to the dark days of Paddy Lowe, they did not have a car until a day before testing. Albon who I like should also be taking it steady on FP1 as he knew they only had the one chassis, he won't be Mr likeable anymore

Yep, backfired, as many predicted. LS knows there’s no trust or confidence in his abilities going forward. Just an unnecessary, self-inflicted wound.

Then he should be more motivated than ever to show they're wrong.

Bravo to Vowles for delivering a tractor after stopping development early last year on a car that was on days, top midfield. The car has no clear advantage, and as feared will struggle to get a point in any race. Haas sacked their TP and had changed their concept late last year, heck they don't even build their chassis, who knows they might just use emails to plan production. If it ain't broke don't fix it, things were looking up for Williams last year but like clockwork, a Merc leader comes in with a lot of hype and they are back to square one.

Vowles should grow some balls and sack this Sargeant and stop defending him, one less pay driver on the grid. They gave him an extension only because of his nationality. American owned team, Duracell, three american races and an american passport.

He's basically as good as gone, why so impatient for an announcement? :wtf: At least wait till summer break is over and you can complain to your heart's content if there isn't a replacement announced by then. No point in getting yourself worked up over this in the first quarter of the season.

They shouldn't have given him an extension in the first place but maybe we have to watch Sargeant the whole season because the COTA and Vegas are end of the season.

Repaired mono is usually some hundreds of grams heavier than an original.

The repair has only added 100 grams. Team principal James Vowles says the chassis damage was to a suspension insert and there was no crack in tub, so a driver is not expected to notice a difference between the two cars.

Frankly they'll never know until the car is on track, and even if Seargent's performance is negatively affected by some hairline fracture they couldn't detect - I doubt it'll be much of a priority.

Here is a slow motion of Seargents crash. He is totally understeering it. The most damning part is how he has so many chances to let off the gas and just doesn't. Disregard the comment in the tweet. He's just trolling
