Relax, Last year McLaren was the fastest and Red Bull managed few laps during the first test. Dennis said that Honda engine they have in Jerez is still 2-3 steps from the one they`ll bring in Melbourne.TheGkbrk wrote:Seriously, if that Ferrari is quick enough to compete for the title, I will go mad (as an Alonso fan since I started watching F1).

Testing times mean very little in terms of outright pace, as we don't know what fuel load the cars are running or what test programme they are running etc I'm sure the Mercedes hasn't as yet shown it's full potential, other than it's reliability.TheGkbrk wrote:Seriously, if that Ferrari is quick enough to compete for the title, I will go mad (as an Alonso fan since I started watching F1).

Kvyat damaged the only wing Red Bull has here at Jerez, so the team is carrying out very basic work that is can complete without one while a spare is flown out.
There's no guarantee that the new spare will make it to Spain in time to allow the team to do any more proper running today, so everyone at Red Bull is having to cross their fingers.
