i think both rb and mclaren are still developing their versions, if you look at both ferrari and merc they seem to use the same concept of expanding the diffuser height

Yer, I think that's going to change at some point in the not-too-distant future.

In terms of the exhaust systems I think Lotus and Red Bull have it right. I was surprised Sauber dropped what they had. You really need to coax the exhaust gas to where you want it to go along the bodywork because the exhaust are such a long way from your intended target. The bodywork behind Red Bull's exhausts is completely seamless in a way that Lotus's isn't and I find the shape where it slopes away in three dimensions quite curious. Ferrari and McLaren seem to just be putting it into an area and I'm not sure that's going to yield as much further development.

The chassis is even more extreme than the previous cars.
especially the splitter area, at the expense of driver comfort it seems.

If you decrease the cockpit floor area, you inadvertently increase the splitter area and also streamline the flanks of the car.
If you look carefully you will see the almost shrinkwrapped appearance of the splitter bow where the drivers rump should be.
It is safe to say rebull has even more downforce in the body of the car.
A lot of high pressure sits in that area.
For Sure!!

Apart from the nose duct, looking how the beam wing is mounted (and maybe ducted) it is clear that Newey liked Sauber C31 quite a lot.

DRS is activated. So, not under breaking. Seems to me normal RB rake

rake is normal for RBR but front camber is massive
And still flexi-FW.

I thought Pirelli set a max camber for the cars? That looks pretty extreme.
