from what i know...i think they are allowed to test new staff in a young driver test...are they planning to test a lot of new pieces at magny course?

3 days. And yes they are allowed to test new parts.

New exhaust unit/exit will be interesting to see if they adopted a more Red Bull esque design...however I feel they may be attacking the new in-form Mclarens design.

We shall see as the Factory kicked back into life as of Tuesday, perhaps young driver testing will begin at Imola/Monza if the FIA approves such a move?

Unlikely. Monza is not your typical circuit. You need a circuit that has high speed corners to test the aero efficiency. Monza will not give alot more data then a straight line test, which teams are allowed to do throughout the year for a number of days. Magny cour is a more typical circuit. Imola is a slightly better choice then Monza, but Magny Cours would imo still fit better.
Just for comparing: Jerez is seen as the overall best test circuit:

Jerez and magny cours are the more complete circuits, monza and imola are more stop and go.

Yeah before I made my previous post I did readed that. I assumed you did too, but were perhaps looking at a late atlernative. Driving at Monza would have had the advantage that saved themselves both the time and money from going to Magny cours, but like I said it's not your typical f1 circuit.
Strange though that they aren't going for Mugello:

It's corners aren't as fluent as Jerez or Magny Cours, but the previous midseason test did show it was still a decent test track. Plus it is close to Monza. Perhaps they stroke a favourable deal with Magny Cours?
