nah, they connected and moved together into the wall
Nope, hamilton was on the grass before the contact.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Oh, c'mon, imightbewrong, there is no discussion. It's Button's fault. It's Maldonado's fault. It's Webber's fault. It's Massa's fault.... and we hate overtakings.

Sigh.
My bad, of course you are right

I think Button should be fined here. He was clearly right and want to the left blocking Hamilton and when Hamilton was going to pass he gave a little twist to his his steering wheel (just like schumacher before)

Hamilton however should receive a penalty as he caused a Safety car instead of parking his car

According to the BBC Radio 5 commentary, Emerson Fittipaldi has said much the same thing.

He was quoted as saying that Hamilton needs to reign in his aggression or he will not reach his full potential.
absolutely. when Hamilton gets his Zen thing together he is awesome. Now he looks like a horny adolescent who can't get laid.

Unbelievable! It seems Hamilton's maturity has decreased steadily since his debut in 2007. It was obvious he was quicker than Button and the two Mercedes but he just cannot seem to reign in his aggresive tendencies when the situation requires just a bit of patience. Very disappointing to see him ruin his race when he had a very good chance to score a podium.

Let’s look at this sensibly. I am not a fan of either driver so am impartial and don't care which one gets penalised.

Button went too deep into the chicane and had a slow exit, which allowed Hamilton to get right up behind Button.

Button then moved to the left to defend. Hamilton also moved to the left to try and pass.

Button kept moving and the gap disappeared.

Hamilton should have seen that Button was committed to his one legal move. Hamilton should have gone along the right of Button to get past as Button would have been defenceless.

Chances are that Button did not see Hamilton due to spray.

Mind fart by both drivers.

HAM v WEB was racing incident - WEB started to close for the apex, saw HAM and started to give room as HAM was coming through. Slight touch in the wet = spin.

HAM v BUT was BUT closing the door on HAM. Probably thought he was taking the defensive line but didn't realise that HAm was so much quicker than him.

These things will happen when we have cars that can race. For years F1 had bugger all overtaking and so little coming together as part of it. Get some overtaking and you get some incidents. HAM does more overtaking of those in similar cars than anyone else so it's no surprise he has incidents.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
