Those are beauties, flyn.

I like to attend to the annual classic automovile club expo in Buenos Aires and have seen many weird old jewels there, but not salt flat runners. I have been curious about those cars since I´ve seen The world fastest Indian (even if the movie is about a bike) :)

I live a few hours from the salt. Speedweeks is coming up I should have some more pictures then. If I get second I can post some that I took last year.

pretty much impossible at this point. I think the cars have gone back to their owners. There is a video called boys of Bonneville that details AB and the Mormon Metor

It's is a very nice documentary about AB & Marv. Jenkins and the MMIII. I really enjoy the complete racing career of AB particularly the board track racing and the early Salt Flats runs. His 3000 miles record setting is amazing. The original title of this film “Meteor Men: Legacy of Speed” was a better one.

That DVD will find its place next to "The World's Fastest Indian".

I found this some time ago about board track racing at Daytona.
