He has more podiums than half the field!
Consistency is what is needed. You can't peak for 2-3 races a year.
I think he's better than Perez. Let this car evolve and the racing get to permanant circuits before you write off Lance.

If Stroll was the only driver at AM, the conclusion would be that they fluffed their 2023 car design. What is Stroll doing so far back in a car that was almost on pole?

I'm sorry but this is his 8th season in F1 and it is the average career length of an F1 driver.
Is he fully fit yet after his accident?

That has got to be the best Q since… ever.
That's a heck of a call to make. There have been some good qualifying sessions over the years. But it was certainly a great "down to the wire" qually.
Can you share one? I'll dig up that replay today. For sure! 🥰🥰
Monaco '88 for a start. May not be a last corner nail biter like today, but by Jiminy it was a great performance by Senna.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Would be nice if the Bulls start from the back. How can we make it happen?
You got your wish, partly.

So. Perez strategy. Start him on the grid on hard tyres, and fish for a late red flag?🤔

It doesn't matter what strategy he does, he can barely finish in top 10. Such is the track. Leader controls the pace and he wouldn't run away which means it's a train.

I wouldn’t put it past the RB strategy team. Go long on a hard and hell for leather at the end on some softs.

My point exactly. If he runs a no-stop strategy, he will jump to first at the pitstop round... A red flag and fresh tyres after that means he wins.

He'll need a lot of help. Even Verstappen only managed P9 in 2018.

He won't jump to first. He'll be a pit stop behind Verstappen within 10 laps due to the nature of the circuit and being stuck behind slower cars.

Not if they are controlling the pace. Especially if he can jump the backmarkers at the start, or there is a lap 1 incident ahead of him that he survives.

Start on the grid on hard, literally run it as a no-stop race, pray for a late red flag or a traffic jam at the beginning of the pitstop phase to change to a 1 stop.

I'd roll with it. It could be an epic fairytale of a race!🥰

What the heeeellll?!!

The RedBull rocket found 3 tenths in the shortest sector of them all?! Waht tha??!!! :wtf: :wtf:
More like Aston was poor in Sector 3 compared to Red Bull all weekend.
Was not the case in FP2, the most representative practice session of the weekend. He was nearly matching Ferrari and Max in FP2. FP3 wasn't representative session whatsoever. Fernando set the slowest S3 time in Q3 of ALL cars. Probably, he underperformed there himself a bit. Also he improved lot less than other on S3 since Friday.

Any news on Lec's investigation ?
Would be a shame if he gets a penalty, then again .. he ruined Lando's lap.
