Unfortunately, Williams haven't actually received any money from Rokit yet. They are taking the case to the California District Court to confirm/enforce the Award granted to them by the LCIA (London Court of International Arbitration).

£3.5-5m refers to the sizes of the individual instalments in which the sponsorship was to be paid out. Williams were found to be owed 3 instalments from each of the two sponsorship contracts (Rokit and Rokit Drinks) worth a total of £24.5m.

That is a big chunk of cash to be short of, it looks as though Claire Williams was doing a much better job than she has ever been given credit for. That sort of short-fall could have resulted in them selling out to Dorilton.
