Round of applause for tsunoda. Brilliant job and let's hope it can be a complete performance this weekend with a decent race as well

Oscar may face a grid drop as well so P4 could be on the cards

Bayer on the upgrade. Seems like the upgrade worked but it created balance problems as they're able to generate so much downforce from the floor for the rear of the car that they lack a sufficiently powerful front wing to balance this. So not as effective for this weekend as was hoped, but bodes well for their correlation going into the off-season

It’ll be interesting to see where Alpha start next season. They seem to have brought almost half of their 2024 car to the last races of this season, will they say make a half a second jump over the winter where as some of the others make a second… only time will tell

Tsunoda seems to be pretty good around Yas Marina. Outqualified and beat Gasly in 21/22. Finished P4 in 2021, his best result in F1 (which no one remembers for obvious reasons).

YES!! Yuki 6th place in qualification! =D> \:D/ Only 0.523 sec behind pole!
That was impressive by Yuki, he was fast on every run.

Shocking to see Daniel, Lewis and Carlos all fail to make Q3.

Yep well done Yuki. Interesting as up until this update Dan was quite happy with the car balance. No doubt they will fix this for next year. They mentioned not getting the right setup for Dan too. Wonder how much they could have mitigated this balance issue in setup. Looking forward to seeing how the race goes.

Dan said he was very happy with the car, until qualifying. This seems to suggest the track conditions moved away from his setup.

Yeah hopefully just that. See how the race goes.

Interesting comments from Ted on the team name for next year.

“Apparently, it’s going to be Sponsor A Racing Bulls Sponsor B, they’ve got a couple of American sponsors so says Peter Bayer the incoming team principal taking over from Franz Tost.

Peter Bayer isn't the incoming team principal is he? Mekies is while Bayer is the CEO

he was slow in FP3 already, though. After that session Bayer said that Ricciardo had issues with braking, and they had no idea why.

Yeah sorry, I should have been more specific, he actually said the issues came after overnight changes.
