It'll be a small fine realistically

George had a fantastic start clearing Perez and Gasly off the line, before turn 1 he was already 3 wide with Hulkenberg and Piastri. They got through turn 1 together but Russell was squeezed on the inside of turn 2, took to the escape road and rejoined 9th between Hulkenberg (8th) and Piastri (10th).
Likely just a fine. But you never know. The stewards might give pity for harsher penalties given its been quite a while since Merc had drivers on the podium.
I think he went 3 wide on purpose. Knowing he could then use the run-off. No way 3 cars can fit through turn 1 so it would always end up in being forced off track. Quite smart.Raleigh wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 18:32George had a fantastic start clearing Perez and Gasly off the line, before turn 1 he was already 3 wide with Hulkenberg and Piastri. And arguably the only reason that was 9th instead of 10th is Piastri had a horrible turn 2 exit, dropped 5-6 car lengths behind Hulkenberg and ended getting passed by an Alfa Romeo on the exit of turn 3.
Absurd! 3- wide into turn one was happenstance, which resulted in George making a quick exit. Don't be ridiculous .Sieper wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 18:58I think he went 3 wide on purpose. so whats this procedure that they infringed on? seeing that its from the media delegate id
Zhou right behind was 3 wide with Perez and Gasly, he made it work to come from behind and overtake both on track 3 wide through 1 and 2.Sieper wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 18:58I think he went 3 wide on purpose.
