Perez has to go after that just when you thought it couldn't get any worse after what we've seen all season

Amazing drive from Fernando !
But how on earth Perez is not finishing 2nd today... or 3rd at least
Poor qualifying and a very pedestrian race day.
Got unlucky in the quali but yeah his race wasn't spectacular. kept trying the same thing over and over

That podium is looking crazy

Edit: one thing I've noticed is that either Merc is good and Aston is crap, or Aston is good and Merc is crap.

Neither team seem to be good on track at the same time.

Been a theme through the majority of the season. For such a close constructors battle between Merc/Ferrari, we’ve barely had any actual wheel to wheel racing between them all season. It’s either been one track suiting one, or the other. Disappointing

i can t get onboard footage from lewis because of DRM protection, but i think he jump started 1st start. Can somebody somehow get the footage ?

I definitely thought I saw that too....on the sky feed during the start replays....the camera cut to his on-board just before the lights went out and he seemed to have "jumped" right at the moment that the camera cut to him.

He did t actually move, but the car seemed to jerk. It looked like he had two starts. It was confusing g to see, but nobody said anything about it.

If I'm honest, I've cynically thought that since last year that both Merc and Ferrari try to find plausible ways of finishing behind each other in the WCC to get more development time.

Superb driver and a superb team with a superbly-prepared car!

Verstappen + RB-Honda is a great combo! =D>

Also a true champions drive from Fernando Alonso. Bravo! =D>

Would really be something to see Fernando in that Red Bull next year. I think it would worry Max too much for it to happen.

I don't think Christian Horner wants a full head of grey hair before time.

I think max would anyway destroyed him, but he would have much harder time than now. I would love that too, at least some battles for 1st position :D
