That account has been right more than a few times to the point of me thinking he/she/they is an employee or very close to an employee. But damage is nothing to hide, there is no reason Fernando or the team won't mention it after quali. That is a common thing discussed.

It would make sense actually with the limited time they had between sessions. Honestly this is going to have to be a damage limitation weekend. Just learn as much as they can today and hopefully have both cars fixed for the race by starting from the pitlane.

Went opppsite direction compared to sprint. Same as in China. Alonso needs to get past Albon at the start or it’s gonna be a drs train for the whole race

They had 3 hours between sprint and Q. They have all the data from the sprint to see if something is not right. You can not change the chassis in this time, which was not broken of course, but nearly everything else. Such stories are fairytales...

F1's official projections are memeworthy. Don’t put much stock into those

Both Astons are expected (like 50% chance) to two stop or do very aggressive one stop of s-m or s-s-m, (s-m-m for stroll). Alonso and Stroll do not have any hard tyres (at least 10 laps old, but they car still run it as hard can last 50 laps). Gonna use the race to get to the bottom of the race pace issue before the upgrades arrive in Imola.

I think both drivers have 1 set hards, which are 1 lap old. (used at the beginning of FP1). They used both a new set of mediums for their outlap today.

Yes, true. ALO used a very old hard yesterday (strange that they handed back a new tyre after FP1).

Break paddle is bouncing, so systems get the impression that Fernando is resting the foot on it.
Strangely, as it kinda loose it seems he was now told to do exactly that, to keep the break pressure constantly at 0.2-0.3bar. Just in the second straight though. Surely not really pleasant.

ALO is the slowest car, depressing! After the pit stop they should just retire the car to save components. Team 1/5, driver 1/5 today (when even STR makes the better job the whole weekend).
