Force India in good financial position
Despite the changes in the economic world since Vijay Mallya entered Formula One with his Force India team, the Indian businessman is feeling positive regarding his financial situation. This despite the overall downturn in financial positions throughout the entire grid, which has seen two teams leave the sport in this year alone.
"Force India is in a good enough position," Mallya said to the 'BBC', "it's a smaller team with a much smaller budget than the big boys and so it is probably relatively easier for us to manage under these circumstances."
And he also expressed his views for the following season, which if all goes well should be a lot better, "I certainly hope to be up to a midfield in 2009 given all that we are doing and I would be disappointed if we are not."
