A lap around the Korean circuit by Mark Webber
The first ever South Korean GP is bound to take place within 2 weeks time, and the event has finally been given the green light after construction was delayed earlier in the year. Formula One can look forward to an impressive new venue which will develop even further in the coming years.
Red Bull Racing have prepared a video to get an idea of what the circuit will look like with Formula One cars roaring around it. The track is a combination of straights followed by short turns, while the middle sector is a quick combination of fast corners which should prove beneficial for the Red Bull drivers.
Earlier today, the circuit announced that after inspection by Charlie Whiting, the circuit was found 'satisfactory'. It this time though, there are still cranes at several places around the track, and it is expected this could even be the case at the start of the race weekend.
