No agreement on cost-cutting measures

Yesterday, the F1 team bosses met with Max Mosley in Paris for a meeting about the radical cost-cutting plans of the FIA president. It appears that the bosses and Mosley failed to agree on the details of the cost-cutting measures.

The meeting was organised by the President of the FIA, Max Mosley, to give more details on the cost-cutting proposals that include limitations on aerodynamic testing, rig testing, design and manufacturing, suspension and brakes, hydraulic systems, bodywork, weight distribution, circuit testing and the number of personnel at races. The measures come at a time that all the teams are focussing on aerodynamics and this to meet with the 2009 regulations.

As both parties failed to reach an agreement, it seems that more meetings have to be held to align the details of the cost-cutting measures.
