Wishbone fairings are covers over the wishbone/tether/brake cable. Which is free to change.

Totally different approaches to rear wing and DRS.

Difficult to say, they seem to have a different methodology to most teams (and definitely to RB) except for AM. There appears to be a fairly significant gap at the leading edge of the second element (the main element looks fairly portly), almost as though they are trying to tune the interaction between two separate elements (as opposed to using a twin element wing as a single, powerful, entity); no doubt this is all to do with both balance and tuning the DRS for maximum effect (a bigger ‘static’ slot gap will allow a bigger ‘activated’ slot gap. The portly lower (‘main’) will still generate a decent amount of downforce with the DRS open.
Since the teams have moved to two very similar sized elements (rather than the classic main and secondary elements), the behaviour is NOT exactly as with the classic structure.

This shows an obvious difference that would be neat to quantify. The RBR wing DRS /gooseneck seems to have like 0 contact to the top wing surface (not the more important surface, I agree) where the Merc loses like 5% of the surface to these mounts. How much does that small difference really make?

Yeah, although the photos aren’t all taken from similar angles, distances, etc., I was mainly focusing on the chord width (top to bottom) on the upper element, which seems smaller relative to the RB.

That same element also tapers on the uppermost edge near the end plates, further reducing the amount of surface area.

Seems to be a trend. Hamilton seems to be able to handle less rear wing than Bottas consistently. Have they usually had slightly different front wins too? It's not something I've noticed.

Bottas's is a quali setup, Hamilton's a race set up. Hamilton's allows slightly more top speed so better for defending on the long straight.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

They both went for the old front wing during Q though. Perhaps this is a test for the coming tracks..

Edit: which I now with my limited Spanish knowledge realize that the guy also wrote above, hehe.
