That could be just air flow having different flow on the edge of wing and end plate. And that got dirt collected in it. Or just airflow separation there
Knowing half the --- that has gone on in the years before, I fully expect this sort of --- to be happening up and down the paddock with teams.

In a race where DRS was not activated, Lewis's Mercedes was passing other cars on the straight like it had DRS activated. Bottas, one of the poorest wet weather drivers was 15 seconds up the road from Max. Has Bottas ever finish ahead of Max in the wet? but yet, the car was so fast that Max could not touch him..
That's not the gap opening, that's the wing rotating backswords, thus making it easier to see through the gap!* https://www.reddit.com/r/F1Technical/co ... y/hlaq5j1/
Video of a gap opening in the wing
I obviously ment Turkey, have now changed itdans79 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:30Bottas didn't make it past turn 1 in Hungary!Dee wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:27* HUNGARY

The merc was class of the field in Turkey, is it that difficult to comprehend?Dee wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:27

Why was it the class of the field? Why was it passing other cars like it had DRS already engaged?siskue2005 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:47The merc was class of the field in Turkey, is it that difficult to comprehend?Dee wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:27

Bottas maynot be good in wet, but he is not the poorest wet weather driver!
In 2003 Brazil race Fisichello won the race with arguably the best wet weather driver Michael Schumacher crashed; so did Fisichello and Jordon were doing something illegal?

I remember SKY saying multiple times like it looked like Merc had DRS but were confused as to why when it was not activated.
You said the Merc was "the class of the field" that day...siskue2005 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:53The same car which struggled to pass a rookie for 10 laps?Dee wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:51Why was it the class of the field? The same car which couldn't pass the redbull ?
He passed Vettel on first lap during the start
He passed Yuki tsunoda after 10 laps stuck behind him
He only passed 3 cars on track easily was Stroll, Norris and Gasly - after all 3's tyres were gone
I cannot fathom the stupidity which comes out of David croft and co's mouthDee wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 04:01You said the Merc was "the class of the field" that day...siskue2005 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 03:53The same car which struggled to pass a rookie for 10 laps?

Explain why SKY commentators said what they said about Merc looking like it had DRS during the race
