No but according to Horner the FIA are introducing a new one “after” qualifying
but it wont be testing for oscillating drs flap
Do the rules state that the flap must be ‘still’ when operated? To my knowledge the DRS flap is specifically excluded from the rules about moving aerodynamic devices (obviously, as by its very definition it is a moving aerodynamic device!!). There must be a minimum slot gap when closed, with a maximum slot gap when open.
However…
I’m not entirely sure how you could regulate around this without simply outlawing DRS.
Maybe F1 should have stuck with the F-duct! Simple, clever, works!

For all those that believe Mercedes to be whiter than white when it come to regulations, don’t forget that double-DRS used to be a thing, they came up with that and it worked quite effectively! It forced a re-interpretation (a TD…), and was banned.

Everyone is trying to take advantage of the grey areas; that is where championships are won and lost. None of them are above using red-herrings to throw other teams off the scent of where they are gaining advantages. All of them will argue that their interpretation is completely legal until proven wrong.
I don't think anyone would have a problem with a new technical directive. I think a lot of people are taking issue with the constant use of the word cheating.

And the comically lopsided use of the term from some. Two teams similarly exploiting grey areas or loopholes in similar or different areas, person labels team A as innovative or clever and team B as a cheat or vice versa.

Whatever either RBR or MB may or may not have been doing with wings this season- none of it is cheating as far as I’m concerned. It’s all exploring grey areas and innovative solution.

That could make Max's race difficult if he cannot pull away from Mercedes

This driver disparity from RB is unacceptable. Perez deserves better.

Wonder what happened to Charles. If sainz keeps that up I’m gonna have to concede I’m wrong about him, and perhaps he really is pulling charles’ card 🃏

I’m feeling charles’ pain right here.

Perez is nowhere as i said. They had to replace engine to him, in order to hope for better results. The difference in performance between redbull and mercedes is clear looking perez and bottas. Will verstappen still make the difference? Hope so, but......

What? Dude simply wasnt fast enough, that's all there's to it. He had soft tyres and should at the very least do what alpines did, but wasn't able to.

Perez can go faster they just don’t know how to make someone other than max as comfortable

Also, I love the clear visors in night races so you can see the drivers’ eyes from that dashcam shot.
