The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a temporary street circuit, located on Corniche - a 30km long coastal resort of the old Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah adjoining the Red Sea. The first Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place in 2021, under artificial lighting. The average speed around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is expected to be 252km/h, the fastest street circuit ever in Formula 1 - while the 27-piece circuit will also have the most corners on the 2021 calendar, many of which are fast corners, along the waterfront of Jeddah.
The track will be the second-longest track on the Formula One calendar, with only Spa-Francorchamps being longer.
The circuit was designed by Carsten Tilke, son of the famed circuit designer, Hermann Tilke

Is that track map correct? In the game, the second DRS zone is in a different part of the track

Feels like a cross between the new and old Hockenheim, just with concrete walls everywhere.

I suppose it depends how close the cars are going into zone 2 but I expect the sensible thing is to be as close as possible at the zone 3 detection point and then getting it done to avoid the possibility of losing the place again immediately.

They'll want to use the DRS zones to get close and then do the move in T1. That gives half a lap to try to gap the car they've just overtaken. Overtaking in to T27 just leaves them open to losing the place back again in to T1.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

That would depend on how cleanly you make the overtake at the last corner, and whether you wait until the last detection zone before being past (therefore ‘robbing’ the person that you have just overtaken of DRS for zone 3).
If you cannot get that move done, you would be best to make the person ahead defend into the last turn, comprising their exit and then getting the overtake done into the first turn/chicane, before trying to break the tow through the twisty section.
Getting the car set-up with working in traffic in mind (from an aero perspective) is going to be key to getting any overtake done against someone with slightly slower pace.

The track reminds me of a cross between Montreal and Albert Park.

Im glad it had 3 detection zones. I dont like it when a car passes, then has DRS again to help pull a gap, like in Mexico.

It's basically 2 hairpins 3km apart joined by some wavy turns. Those turns inbetween dont seem like much of challenge. The dificulty may be finding a good rythm and remembering where you are.

Turns 1, 2, 4, 9, 13, 22 and 27 (and maybe one or other between 5-8) seem to be the only ones which won't be flat out. Few others will be flat out and demanding, but most of the turns will be more like straights and the drivers won't even feel them. So the track might have the most turns of all tracks, but many of them rather only exist on paper.

It looks highly demanding to me, like high speed Monaco, but we’ll soon see. There’s several “wall of champions sections”.

I’m not sure how accurate these sim previews actually are.

Surprised they don’t put a digital readout where about they are on the track.
In the 1980s Lotus was experimenting with HUD, surprised it’s never taken up

They might flat out but I struggle to see them as making over taking through them easy.
