Scuderia AlphaTauri AT03 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The sidepods actually have a slightly concave surface underneath near the inlets, that's about the most interesting thing I could pickup from the renders. Many things have been hidden here, lots of "standard" parts have been lifted from the showcar.

That last one looks like it was photoshopped
Kukułka zwyczajna, kukułka pospolita – nazwy ludowe: gżegżółka, zazula (Cuculus canorus) – gatunek średniego ptaka wędrownego z podrodziny kukułek (Cuculinae) w rodzinie kukułkowatych (Cuculidae). Jedyny w Europie Środkowej pasożyt lęgowy. Zamieszkuje strefę umiarkowaną.

All of them are, or rather rendered. https://scuderia.alphatauri.com/en/at03/ on the 4th out of 7 lines (performance) on the left you can spin the car until you're in Faenza

Do we know when they will have a shakedown / filming day?

Thank you! Asked before I got there :)

I’m with you though… It’s impressive that not a single picture of it has leaked (when we even got leaks from inside the factory)… Someone is spending a bit of money on security!

Jokes aside, let’s hope the team releases some footage / pics… There aren’t any launches tomorrow, so maybe a good day to do so if they want some spotlight

I'll bring this up...
https://cdn-6.motorsport.com/images/mgl ... at03-1.jpg

https://it.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-al ... a/8163076/

"It's interesting to see, then, how the heath generated inside the sidepods flows maybe into the diffuser, while the hot air coming out from the radiators placed above the Honda PU exits from the upper tail hole on the back above the rear suspension: in this case the hot air should engage the beam wing and enhance air extraction from under the diffuser"...

IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE BY THE RULES ???
It seems to me it is not only illegal, but eventually also illogical since it could disrupt/destroy the flow under the car in a critical area...

What do you think?
Can someone kindly share his/her view on this, please? Thank you very much.

Surprisingly enough, out of the ex-F1 engineers I've listened to(Gary Anderson, Kyle Engineering, B Sport) I think the only car they've been totally positive on thus far has been the AT03. We'll see if that pans out.

I'd say nowhere, since he hasn't put any video on the AT03 yet.
I was desperately hoping for it to be published yesterday but we still have to wait.

My bad, might’ve just been imagining things. Need to get some sleep.

I was wondering about that, started to suspect it has to do with SAT wasn't a real launch. Just a few steps more detail than RBR. Hope not.
