As expected, since race 1 car is slow on race conditions.

Let’s hope they can unlock something for tyre usage, this must be the priority for them I guess

Sad to see that McLaren is already ahead, and maybe Alfa and Haas as well

K-Mag Doesn't have any New Mediums tires left. Would have been an easy edge for ALO on tires if they would have started in the dry.

Schumacher's spin caused the damage, probably. Another shiny weekend.

Awful luck recently but the car hasn't looked great at this track so probably not a big loss in terms of the season

A year and a half of efforts for this bucket on four wheels.
What a disgrace. And it's not even about the collapsed pontoon. Blah blah blah only after four races from Alpine, but zero progress

The Top speed for both cars was low at this track compared to other cars, so it wasn't caused by the upgrades. It looks like there gears are too tall for this track as Alonso wasn't even getting into 8th at the end of the start finish straight. He did use 8th with DRS. That's a stark contrast to previous races where he was always near the top of the charts. His speed was slow at the start finish line, displaying they're weakness in slow corners but still faster that Norris. The reliability issue at the start of the sprint just started the spiral.

It is sad that on race pace, the Alpine looked mediocre at best in the first four races. A possible front row start for Fernando in Melbourne could've helped with some points but overall it didn't look very bright. Jeddah was on route to a double points where it failed sadly as well. Also, I'd be putting Fernando in a race pace car rather than a single lap pacer as he was always the man of Sundays. I hope they can have that second half of the season climb like last year. I dunno how though.

especially in the rain, Ocon was really slow - and that's normally where he escels. On slicks he was a bit more competitive, but still unable to challenge Stroll. Maybe Alonso could have done a bit better, but all in all, this didn't look promising at all today.

Think most teams that didn't get into clean air struggled. It was hard to pass if your cat isn't significantly faster.
