Any concerns about a reprimand for Sainz? I think it would be harsh unless he ignored an obvious yellow on his way round?
I would have no concerns. Sainz was less than 5 secs back from Perez, the yellow was displayed while he was turning in the corner and it was a single yellow entry to a blind corner. Here they should have gone with straight red rather than single yellow... This race director has to learn how to use flags, that red on tsunoda's accident makes no sense compared to this single yellow.
It depends if the marshalls were as quick with the flags. Marshall with a local yellow ALWAYS takes place over the marshalling system. Reference Max incident last year with the stopped car on the way to the line. Waved yellows but nothing on marshalling system. Local yellow took precedance.
If the marshalls were waving double yellows for Perez, then Sainz is fully to blame for crashing into Perez and I cant see it getting brushed under the carpet tbh, Not without some stern questioning from the stewards.
With the red on Tsunoda's incident. Again, Marshall threw red out for debris on the track, namely most of Tsunoda's front wheel, so probably right to throw the red out. Once one red is out, the whole track has to go red. Race director bang on the ball with that decision.
