Is the strut for the floor new for this package in suzuka or was it in singapor also there? Or maybe testing?

How interesting to see the chassis of the car is clearly visible seen from the front to the back along the long ax of the car, and the water spray on the both side of the car like a wall, making a huge vortices right behind the rear wing.
These air flow starting from the front end of the floor, rise up above the rear tyre like a triangle walls, ... Are these working like a skirt up see down to keep the upper body aero effect nice and clean?

I wonder what the engineers have to say about the rain.
I mean that at the Barcelona test the rain tire test and here the rainy weather reveals the tricks of the car.
Or are they also happy at McLaren to see the reality after the simulations?

Even though the rain does help visualize a few things, with water been heavier than air, it is not an actual representation of what is happening with the air flow… But it gives a general idea… For the most part, you will see most teams showing very similar patterns.

McLaren sees the reality at the Wind Tunnel and if they need track confirmation, they would use Flo-Viz, no need for a rainy day

They've done about as much as they can for the undercut this year, it's pretty tight down there, it'll be interesting to see how revised the cooling solution is next year and the sidepod shapes they choose to run with. I assume it will be more sculptured with a bigger undercut but who knows.

The sidepod inlets don't change at all in that view, so not the highest level of detail.

I think the geometries are pretty spot on for the changes so far… May be lacking some detail, but it is a good reference to understand how much it has changed

I'm not convinced by some of the other comparisons,.namely the RB one where it has the sidepods getting substantially wider through the season, which hasn't happened at all. This is basic geometry that they're failing with

So I can't really trust the accuracy of any of them now, especially with major changes also omitted
