A comparison chart's been made a month ago to keep track of lucky and unlucky moments this year and evaluate race results between the two on merit alone.

viewtopic.php?p=1104074#p1104074

Leclerc had 17 bad luck moments in 15 races, Sainz was lucky 11 times. Q was also harder on Leclerc than Sainz.

On merit, races ended 11-1 for Leclerc. That 1 was France, since even with reverse it's hard to see Leclerc finishing ahead of Sainz.

It's not even close between them.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Sainz had a fresh engine for France

Yes, which was a bad luck issue for Q and R, starting from the back of the grid.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Essentially they’re saying that by meeting the reliability requirements - which meant the PU was never turned up to the max in 2022 - they’ll get another 15 bhp vs the settings used at the start of 2022 (eg in Bahrain).

The 30 bhp number previously mentioned is seemingly because during the middle of 2022 (when Ferrari were at their least competitive) they had turned it down even further to ensure no more blow ups, which lost them a further 15 bhp.

Take it all with a pinch of salt imho but there’s usually some fire to create this smoke.

I think I´ll take a rest from this forum, not just this thread, this forum has dropped so much from what it was and I liked, today this is just a bashing board for fans with very little respect to anyone who is not his favourite

The worst part is moderators not only allow this behaviour, but encourage it. They allow irrational replies and provide warnings to those who point out how irrational are those replies... just because they/we name the person.

If saying people they´re irrational deserves a ban, while being irrational itself does not, I´m out

Good luck

Maybe stick to technical threads? Team threads are bound to be like this.

I was just watching in the morning, after seeing post in McLaren thread about sponsors and then went to Ferrari's website and all were still there. So crypto is dying slowly in F1. FTX, Tezos, Velas..

It's rather inconsequential for Ferrari. Their heritage payment for merely breathing air is nearly that amount.

Seems like 2026 PU question might turn into a $itshow between Ferrari and FIA

It's somewhat ambiguous in the article whether the "exclusion" was at the behest of the FIA, or at the behest of Renault, Audi, Honda, Mercedes, RBPT.

Which is quite an abomination. Besides their budget used to be around 400 million. Now that cap is 145. They don't know how to spend the extra money.

What's a strong move about this? If they didn't sign up for 2026 yet, they have no place there. Pretty straightforward.
