Here's mine:
  • Start Master: Max Verstappen
  • Most Pole Positions: Max Verstappen
Not easy to be the Start Master if you start most races from Pole Position.
... If he keeps 1st place on each starts, why not
It's funny when you put it like that  ... what I meant to say by Start Master -> is the best driver having the most overtakes on the start procedure, from the get go the first sequence of corners.

Indeed, I was joking about his point

Red Bull would have to finish last in the WCC for Stroll to also not be “Surprise of the year”

I think Alonso to under-deliver is the furthest from happening, not by much but still furthest

You think Ferrari to have lost their one lap ultimate performance advantage over Red Bull?

Not exactly like that. I think Ferrari will hold their advantage on medium-high, high downforce tracks, but it will be closer on all others, close enough for Verstappen to make difference. As I believe he is in fact the best and the most consistent qualifier on the grid, having a car exactly to his liking. Previous car didn't suit him well enough(in qualyfing conditions especially), which will change significantly this year with the new improved car and new Pirelli front tyres. If you actually analyze previous season qualifying performances a bit closer, it was Verstappen who should've scored more poles that anyone else on the grid, with the car, which, as you said, was a bit slower on average over a single lap. Verstappen was the fastest in Silverstone, Spa and Singapore, but was unlucky on those occasions. He should've had 10 Poles vs 8 Poles of Charles.

Let's see how far were we from our predictions. Here is mine.
  • World Drivers Champion: Max Verstappen - CORRECT
  • World Constructors Champion: Red Bull Racing - CORRECT
  • Rookie of the Year: Oscar Piastri - CORRECT
  • Flop of the Year: Mercedes. For failing to adopt to new rules and falling back to 4th - PARTIALLY CORRECT
  • Surprise of the Year: Hulkenberg gets a podium. - NOT CORRECT. McLaren's return to form for me.
  • Overtaker of the Year: Fernando Alonso - NOT CORRECT; I believe it is Hamilton
  • Start Master: Lewis Hamilton - IDK Yet
  • Most Pole Positions: Max Verstappen - CORRECT
  • Under-deliver: New Aero Regulations. They will spread the field even more. - Partially CORRECT. Even though the filed was closer, the gap to first is just unprecedented.
  • Over-deliver: Fernando Alonso - CORRECT in my opinion. Especially since seeing Stroll's form.
I think I scored 6/10 (counting the partially correct ones as half).

No it is not. The combined very high level of car performance, car reliability, driver performance, team performance, consistency (team, car and driver), execution and ruthlessness is unprecendented.

In terms of aero performance, the gap to first was small, closer than many years in the last decade.

Here's mine:
  • World Drivers Champion: Max Verstappen
  • World Constructors Champion: Red Bull Racing (although I think Ferrari will be a LOT closer this season
  • Rookie of the Year: De Vries
  • Flop of the Year: Mercedes.
  • Surprise of the Year: The new boys level/out-performing their teammates (Piastri / De Vries)
  • Overtaker of the Year: Fernando Alonso
  • Start Master: Max Verstappen
  • Most Pole Positions: Max Verstappen
  • Under-deliver: Lewis Hamilton
  • Over-deliver: Fernando Alonso
Hmm, not too bad. Clearly way off with Ferrari.

The rookie de vries did me the dirty. Piastri had a good season for 1st year.

Other than Alonso - I’d say most are just about there to be honest. Although I am tempted to add Perez to under deliver.

Once max got his starts dialled in, they were very good
