Sky want £18pm for SSF1 or £20pm for full SS, I only watch F1 though and don’t really wanna pay that much or commit to 18 months of it!chrisc90 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:08Worth ‘living/working abroad’ for the full coverage.KeiKo403 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:02Apologies for the somewhat off topic but just trying to decide if I want to get the F1 live timing app for testing (and the whole season) I know it doesn’t give live race coverage as Sky have exclusive TV rights here in the UK.
Does anyone know though apart from archive stuff and live timing does the £20 UK subscription include post practice/quali/race highlights and the Jolyon Palmer analysis and the Sam Collins/Albert Fabrega tech stuff?
Personally I find F1TV coverage a lot better than sky, just sky has a bit better post race where the interview, so watch sky live then drop back onto the post race show on F1Tv to catch up.
Prob only donkey-work in the AM, waste of time for ALO reallyf1316 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:15Given Alonso wants as much time in the car as possible, seems odd not to turn Stroll being out into a positive by giving Fernando extra running. Seems weird to have Drugovich out there who isn’t racing and will surely give less beneficial feedback than the most experienced F1 driver of all time.
A VPN is only way you can get the live coverage on F1Tv in the U.K.KeiKo403 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:14Sky want £18pm for SSF1 or £20pm for full SS, I only watch F1 though and don’t really wanna pay that much or commit to 18 months of it!chrisc90 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:08Worth ‘living/working abroad’ for the full coverage.KeiKo403 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:02Apologies for the somewhat off topic but just trying to decide if I want to get the F1 live timing app for testing (and the whole season) I know it doesn’t give live race coverage as Sky have exclusive TV rights here in the UK.

Are you suggesting getting a vpn and subscribing to F1TV Pro? It’s crossed my mind but don’t know how much hassle it is
Fair enough but he was complaining about not having enough time to acclimatise to a new team’s car - which will inevitably feel different to the alpine - so seems odd (to me anyway).214270 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:19Prob only donkey-work in the AM, waste of time for ALO reallyf1316 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:15Given Alonso wants as much time in the car as possible, seems odd not to turn Stroll being out into a positive by giving Fernando extra running. Yeah, it’s been reported as minor but maybe there’s a real risk STR isn’t ready for opening; the prudent thing to do is to give DRU time in the car. I’d wager they’re just covering all basesf1316 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:31Fair enough but he was complaining about not having enough time to acclimatise to a new team’s car - which will inevitably feel different to the alpine - so seems odd (to me anyway).214270 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:19Prob only donkey-work in the AM, waste of time for ALO reallyf1316 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2023, 10:15Given Alonso wants as much time in the car as possible, seems odd not to turn Stroll being out into a positive by giving Fernando extra running.
