Or the difference in speed and acceleration isn’t worth the extra by taking a different line.
Similar theory could be applied to a lot of circuits, not just monza
Post quali conference both Ferrari drivers were saying it will be tricky at best. They’ll try but 4-5 laps in the RBR is just better.search wrote:the long runs were a bit hard to read this weekend, but if at all, Ferrari also looked like the quicker team in that regard.
I'd still expect Verstappen to be able to up his game tomorrow and win as well, don't get me wrong, but so far there's no real indication that Ferrari will be as bad as some seem to expect.
They’re probably honoust, but drivers do like to undersell. Team principals maybe less but Vasseur sounded quite confident. Maybe it is just his humour, don’t know him really well yet.dialtone wrote: ↑02 Sep 2023, 22:00Post quali conference both Ferrari drivers were saying it will be tricky at best. I suppose it is a race for pole, even if it does sound...complicated.
He won the pirelli pole position award
I thought that was Kubica?
Lol. The first thought I had was exactly that...well I wonder if Carlos will even lead into turn 1?
If Verstappen leads after 1 lap, it is goodbye. But if there is one of more cars in front, I reckon he will patiently wait behind, save tyres, extent his stint and build a decent tyre offset. He will blast by in the second stint in that case. And he has the advantage when there is a (V)SC when staying out longer.
Copy and paste that every weekend
