Post quali conference both Ferrari drivers were saying it will be tricky at best. They’ll try but 4-5 laps in the RBR is just better.

They’re probably honoust, but drivers do like to undersell. Team principals maybe less but Vasseur sounded quite confident. Maybe it is just his humour, don’t know him really well yet.

At this stage in the season, you cannot downplay the redbull. It will be in a different category on Sunday. This race is between Max and Perez.

Considering that Verstappen's last sector was amazing, I don't know who could resist that on the start\finish straight, without DRS. Maybe the first 3 laps will Ferrari be in front, but afterwards they will be eaten alive.

If Verstappen leads after 1 lap, it is goodbye. But if there is one of more cars in front, I reckon he will patiently wait behind, save tyres, extent his stint and build a decent tyre offset. He will blast by in the second stint in that case. And he has the advantage when there is a (V)SC when staying out longer.

Only hope, entertainment wise, is if T1 creates an opportunity for front wing damage or puncture. Max has played it very safe on lap 1 this season, so can’t see him coming a cropper.
