Drivers take different routes in the hairpin, it’s cambered so it doesn’t matter much to take it tighter.

I think Norris could've done a lot better especially in final chicane which was scrappy so it seems very close between Max and McLaren really

Perez is dropping far too much time in the 1st sector.

Interestingly there was no long runs from Mclaren or RB in that session.

Ferrari seems to have lost some ground compared to yesterday. Hopefully Lando and Oscar have some more pace in hand to make it challenging for Max, but yeah it looks like Max on pole and he'll likely lap almost the entire field on race day if there aren't any safety cars.

I think it’s going to be real close between max and the McLaren drivers landos final lap was abit scruffy so I think he can be closer in quali but McLaren and redbull seem miles ahead of everyone else at least on one lap pace

with only three sets of Softs left, I guess we can expect Verstappen to use Mediums in Q1 now?

@dialtone, as I mentioned yesterday, RB find ~5km/h on the straights between Friday and Saturday since Zandvoort. This is not due to aero changes. It's due to PU modes. RB have been extremely conservative on Fridays since Zandvoort.

Anyone know what is planned with tyre sets? Seems Max and maybe McLaren are going into quali with only 3 sets of fresh softs?

only Verstappen. McLaren, same as most others, has 4. Alfa Romeo, Alpha Tauri and Stoll 5.

If it's the case for Verstappen, then maybe RB know something that we do not?
