Marko mouthing off about Checo’s heritage is what prevents Red Bull from letting him go or demoting him to AT. No different than a real world job, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen

Horner has been supportive of Checo so far but you've got to wonder what is stopping them from replacing him for 2024. Surely it's not loyalty - we're beyond that at this point, Perez performance is not up to expectations. He should be thankfull to Red Bull to have saved his career anyway because he was on his way out when they signed him.

It's probably money despite Red Bull being such a large company.
- Perez will need to be paid off.
- Red Bull Racing will likely lose several major sponsors.
- Red Bull will likely take a hit in sales in Mexico.
- Red Bull is already spending a lot of money on Red Bull Powertrains at the moment.
- Large investment in a new wind tunnel is ongoing
- Ongoing investment in Alpha Tauri with new top personell and improved operations.

But regardless I think they'll have another meeting on this topic after getting home from Japan.
- They have secured first in the WCC and major price money.
- They have likely saved money that they couldn't spend in operating the wind tunnel this year.
- They can put Daniel in the Red Bull seat and solve the Lawson situation.
- Perez is broken. It can't really get worse.
- Major Ford money is incoming.
- Other sponsors are probably lining up to replace any Mexican sponsor that terminates.

Not really.

First: he's still being paid, given that he's on contract.

Second: even if he wasn't (let's imagine his contract has an exit clause for Red Bull), his performance alone is a perfectly valid excuse. You're not gonna win a discrimination lawsuit based on a weird comment by Marko, when RB is able to easily document that you're not performing.

Perhaps he isn’t performing because he’s being discriminated on the basis of his ethnicity. If any of us made the same comments in the workplace, we would be fired. Full stop

That's already going to happen thanks to Helmut!

So before Helmut Marko made those comments Perez was performing well? That is new to me.

If this is what Marko says in public, we can only imagine what he says in private to or about Checo. It could really come back to bite Red Bull if the field is tighter next year and they have no one to blame but their own culture

From August 2022: "As a South American, Checho generally has many ups and downs."

From May 2023: "So don't underestimate Sergio. He changed a lot since he came to us. He started working, before he was a Mexican race driver who was enjoying life. He still does, but he does necessary work!”

I wonder how they decide how much fuel to put.
Combustion needs fuel and oxygen to keep going. Take away the oxygen and you get no combustion. :P

Best race of the season, Verstappen is just one with the car and laid it all out. I guess he goes to f1technical.net and took it personal.

Someone just updated wikipedia for RBR. What a brilliant achievement for both RBR and Max. With such a big margin over their rival, we can certainly expect RBR domination to continue, perhaps till 2025.

Such lack of mental fortitude would prevent anyone from entering F1 in the first place. Also, if perez were to trigger a lawsuit based on these comments nothing changes really if there are valid exit clauses, he's still out of the team and good riddance to him in that case. Aint he never getting back into that seat.

As for second part of your post, I don't know what you mean by "us" because you can only speak for yourself.

Then maybe you should tell your imagination to take a chill pill? It's not a reflection of reality.

What Marko said wasn't okay, but you're just doing wild speculation now and running with it, with no grounds in reality and nothing to back it up.

Checo himself have said Marko didn't mean it like that, and unless you have something concrete that proves otherwise, these wild speculations aren't contributing anything, and is - if anything - disrespectful to Checo and not helping him at all. You're basically calling him a liar by dismissing his own explanation.

Without bad luck max will win the wdc at the sprint. Amusing considering how outspoken against them max has been
