Cornering speed will be insane in sector 1, and we may see >270 kph through degner 1.

Mclaren in S1 should be great... Let's hope they improve their slow corner speed with a good set-up... [-o< [-o<

If it's not a hurricane, I think we should all be excited for a wet race.

MCL doesn’t seem to like long radius corners and there are 2 of those in s1. We’ll see if they can fix it via setup.

As per wet, wet tire gets warm quickly and needs to be cooled with water so there’s no guarantee that Ferrari will have trouble with it. And a used wet tire has less thread and thus lower evacuation performance when it gets too hot. 2022 RBR intermediate tires at Suzuka are still amazing to look at, and they were slower at heating tires.

It's not going to be fixed by setup unfortunately, but those long radius turns only affect the car at low-mid speed, so only turn 2 might be an issue in S1 I suspect. Turn 11 will be an issue and turn 14 may be an issue elsewhere.

The Mclaren likes cooler temps though, so it may well be an opportunity for us to push harder in the race.

Nope, all the teams except RB trying to catch up so this is bad.

It's probably barely going to be raining- inters with a drying line. It's unusually warm right now in Japan and probably will be around the same as this last weekend has been.
