A peaky Newey car would fit Leclercs driving style perfectly. He would embarrass Hamilton.

In the max budget years , Rory Byrne actually beat Adrien Newey.
Newey was massively nerfed by Ron Dennis crazy management style and Mercedes engine losing competitiveness compared to Ferrari. Moreover, Ferrari had Michael Schumacher.

Despite this, he was still able to deliver 2 WDC capable cars with the 2003 and 2005 McL.

I still think getting the two names outlined in red here would've been the better option

Teaser for livery?
The longitudinal stripe doesn't go well on modern F1 cars sadly, but I'm hoping that the apparent relaxation around livery rules allows them to run one car in each color. Just take the normal SF-24 livery template, make the red blue and make the accent stripes red and the other blue instead of white and yellow.

I fear instead we'll get a red car with just the yellow stripe substituted for blue, though #-o .

If not for the accident, Schumacher could have easily won 1999 title as that Ferrari was better than McLaren. Ferrari bagged WCC and that's a reflection of the car's overall performance. Even 1998, both cars were evenly matched. 2003 and 2005 weren't outstanding in terms of performance. In 2003, Ferrari, McLaren and at times Williams and Renault were evenly matched. 2005 was a sham with tyre war where one manufacturer got it grossly wrong that gave advantage to the other manufacturer who did a decent job in a changed regulation. McLarens didn't really stood out in any significant way.

Not so easy. We tried very hard(and I believe are still trying quite hard) for Wache last season but he didn't budge. I remember reports saying Loic Serra and he are good friends so we are trying to convince him in that way.

Still, all it takes is for the top guy to leave for the rest to come falling apart. If Wache or Balbo see RBR is a sinking ship, anything is possible... plus let's not forget Ferrari have immensely talented engineers themselves!

Who do you think they learned from? Do you think they are a better pair than Cardille-Tondi because of themselves alone, working with and learning from Newey for years? Or also because Red Bull has a post-TD39 advantage over everyone thanks to Wolff's short sighted whining? :)
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

He'll have to prove that on track against Lewis. If he's got the chops to beat Lewis, then he'll remain number 1.
Since he arrived in the team, he never had a single bit of #1 status even if he was and is quicker than his team mates both in Q and R trim. With Lewis in, equal treatment remains a sure thing in Ferrari.
Vettel was the #1 driver at Ferrari and Leclerc unseated him. That's as #1 as it gets.

There is no #1 driver in Ferrari since 2013, Vettel was quicker than Kimi but was not given preferential treatment. One of the reasons Ferrari didn't win any title in 17/18.

Nonsense. Vettel was signed as a 4x champ and was the #1 driver. Everyone knows this.

I'd get my facts straight before saying everyone knows something, but that's just me :)

Oh yes of course they learned a lot from Newey but I think taking away those two would've really destabilized RB, considering that they lost one high profile engineer to AM already.

Brining Newey is a net positive for sure :D

Does anyone else think Vettel was not a #1 driver at Ferrari ? He was a 4x champ star signing.

Anyone watching races could tell.

Arrivabene loved Raikkonen
