Wow, Great win by Rubens & Brawn, didnt see that one coming.

Did Hamilton jump into the pits unexpected? Why weren't the tires ready? Either way Rubens may have still had him.

Vettle is done.

Eventually you will get the spelling part right (rubans vettle etc) :)

Vettel will get some championships I'm sure later... this win makes me feel warm and fuzzy for a change.

Wow, this GP turned out to be quite interesting!
Great job from Rubens! =D>

And I want to note that Badoer was much better than could be expected from Q - despite his mistake and drive-thru penalty he finished not too far behind, from my calculations he lost around 1.5-2 seconds per lap compared to leaders which is improvement.

At least he got `Hamilton' correctly  ....
This is certainly one of the best races in the season, and a popular victory for Barrichello...too good man. Awesome! Een the Scuderia Ferrari saluted him as he went into the parc ferme 8)

Really really disappointed with this outcome: 1st and 2nd on the grid and 2nd and 5th in the race. Mclaren lost victory today due to its own fault but I must say: Whitmarsh is the one I'm dissapointed in by saying that mcl had not the pace to win (bad loser). Hamilton states otherwise but doesn't blame anyone: "we win or lose together". Man he is a really great champ. Pity that his faultless drive didn't get rewarded. I still don't get it how they got the pitstop wrong: whitmarsh said something about kovy and kimi battle and lewis vs rubens battle, so they had to chose which one to call in first? but if you're fighting for the win; come on... Mclaren shot itself in the foot here in what would have been a race where hamilton would have won and mclaren would have closed to gap to two points on 3rd place ferrari. Now still 5 points adrift.

It's really a disappointing outcome but our season is over anyway. Pity we couldn't manage to get another win because tha pace was definitely there! Hopefully spa will be good because brawn is fearing a bit of a backfall but mclaren still has to prove itself on fast circuits...

EAt hami's dust kimi!

This reply of yours show how a pathetic team you support. now rubens is godlike, in shum days you would talk differently. Bari won today not by own strenght so colourless win.

Fantastic race by Rubens!!! =D>

Mclaren messed up, not only with Lewis's pitstop but also with the tyre choice. The softer compound seemed much better for the last stint and the harder compound seemed to give better consistency.

I am still wondering whether if it is necessary to continue having races in Valencia. I mean, apart from the racing at the front, the race was pretty boring. I think we would have had a better race at a place like Montreal or Indy. I really think that this track is just pointless and should be removed from the calender next year.

Or maybe South Africa? I haven't been there yet, another good reason to visit.

Very sweet to see Rubens win today. Seeing the entire pitlane out to congratulate him speaks to his character and how respected he is in the sport.

Luca survived, I was impressed with his start, how he threw himself into the fray. Give him the week to recover, we'll see an incremental improvement come next weekend.

Heikke will be looking for new work come next season. He's not performing at the level of the car. Something's just not right for him this season.

Vettel is pretty much boned for WDC this season. At the rate he's been dropping engines, with only two in reserve, he IS going to see a grid penalty before season's end.

Button seems to be having some major difficulties out there. The car has proven itself capable, and he IS faster than Barrichello. So he really needs to snap out of the tailspin and start performing like he can - way I see it, he's got 2 races, max, to turn this around, or he's lost it for the WDC.

Button is faster only when the car is perfect for him, his super smooth style does not go well when condtions are even just a little bit off.
Lewis Hamilton wrote:"They'd asked me to come in that lap, I was just coming in, at the white line, then they realised I had enough for an extra lap and they did tell me to do another lap, but it was too late. I was committed to the pitlane. So while that happen they anticipated me coming in on the next lap."
This seems to be the source of the confusion during the 2nd pit stop... Contrary to Whitmarsh I think Lewis with a good 2nd stop still could have won.

Without a doubt. I can't think of any other way Rubens would have made it past a KERS car. He raced well, and got very lucky today.
