Leclerc running Q engine modes for sure, crazy gaps to Sainz
Yes I think so. Looking at telemetry they're giving Lec full beans

But still. Ferrari looks clear fastest in terms of car doing what drivers want. Mercedes 2nd fastest IMO

No way Mercedes is 2nd fastest. We haven't seen RB and McLaren stretch their legs.

Max almost smashed it in St. Devote, that car is nervous for sure.

Yeah, seems like it gonna be a difficult weekend for them. Perhaps Max should fly back to base after FP2 to do some more sim work.

In my opinion, Merc did not use a fresh set of software, they used the set used in the first practice

no, Mercedes and Norris didn't. Running more than 1 set of softs on Friday would backfire tomorrow.

Hamilton's mediums look done after 18 laps only.

Yes, Mercedes and Norris used C5 from the first practice in which there were already 5-6 laps.

Thankfully race pace is by and large useless at this track.

Leclerc should be a lock for pole, the Ferrari just does everything he wants in the slow speed, the ride is the best on the grid. Merc look positive. RB again struggling with set-up, car looks too stiff. McLaren missing something too.
