Verstappen is lacking pace in sector 2, that's why he cant overtake. He closes up in s1 and s3 but that's not enough.

It look's like that. Cars too wide!! :|
He needs a soft to overtake.
It will happen but maybe when it's too late. Russel was saving his tyres.
Of course he was, he didn't fall nearly 20s behind a cruising Norris because he was going fast.

Note the traction of Russel. Max for some reason doesnt have the drive out of the corners o the new hard tyres.
Strange. The mediums could drive 2 more grand prix.
For Sure!!

Max will be holding on P6 I think unless Russell has a moment.

Max's tyres have lost the juice to give superior traction required to pull an overtake.

They as well pit Lewis again for soft or medium tyres now, there is nothing to lose now with George holding up Max

I'm voting magnussen driver of the day
That 1st lap red flag was the worst thing that happened for this race…
With or without red flag race would be boring.

I suspect a rule change coming that a red flag/ tire change doesn’t count as a pit stop.

A glorified Free practice.
I am nervous for Charles, and that's about it. His luck is very poor, and 10 laps of this... anything can happen.
For Sure!!
