Jerez Testing Pics

Hey, found some interesting pictures from testing in Jerez in late July...its a little late seeing as i just got back from holiday, but I havent seen them elsewhere. So here goes:

First is this on the Renault, the chimney has cooling slats in the side of it, I don't know if it is the same on the otherside, I can't find pictures of the car from that side on the same day:


Second is BAR, notice the second Airbox wing...its just like the Viking Horns on the Mclaren only without the "endplates" as such:


And finally...has anybody got any idea what on earth are those things sticking out from the wheels of this Toyota?!

Those things on Toyota look like some sort of measurement equipment, measuring...? Pressure regulators?

If I can see it correctly, it seams that those things have a cable or a pipe behind?! Perhaps those are just cameras fixed there for making some shots from cool angles. What if those are cameras but used by Michelin to get a close-ups of tyre sidewall behavior?

Although, at first glance it seamed to me that those are modern version of Roman chariot wheel cutters meant to increase Ralf’s ability to cause even more incidents

I think we have discussed the camera's before but what I am very sure of is that it is not the first time Toyota are running these things. And as far as my knowledge goes, it is also the only team that has ever used these things.
Based on that, I don't think it is Michelin who asked for it, however they might be interested in the gathered material for sure

At Renault... well apparently the slits work well (once those were called shark gills hehe) on the side of the body so why not use them everywhere. Fernando said after the Hungarian GP that evolutions were coming up, and look there we are

For B.A.R : just get rid of these things I think those horns are really really ugly, I even though the X-wings looked better than that...

I've read articles that claim that the louvres as seen on the Renault are not as efficient as the standard chimneys due to the differing velocity between the hot air exiting the 'gills' and the air passing over the body.
