Well..

The BOSS!!

Another day at the office... another day at the office... heheh... 8)

Pole.... Position.... Just as i predicted. =D>

===============================================

anyway,

I wanted Barichello to do much better though... The thing is Button is just one grid row back, and he can choose his fuel load! Then again, could Barichello have done better than 5th in the end? The way things were looking in Q2 maybe not... that might just be a lucky crash for Barichello..

Hey did it seem like something strange was happening under Barichello's cars just before the crash? There was a lot of dust flying out from under it, like the plank was broke or bottomed out or something?

Big Up to THE BOSS, but it sure would have been nice to see the end of Q3

just waiting on those fuel numbers... Kovi might be fueled for a 1 stopper.

So one could assume Rosberg and Webber are in good positions, but then again it's not like Vettel and Hamilton are running that much lighter. I'm going for a Hamilton win, bar any last lap turn 17 crashes

Are those the real weights? I wouldn't try to read too much into today's Q3 since quite a few drivers were taking it a bit easy with used tyres, since the second attemt is done with 3 laps less of fuel.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

I'm surprised that Vettel only has 6% on the 'who will win Singapore' poll. He HAS to win this race, and Hamilton will be a sitting duck. He'll definitely be able to outdrag him with stupid KERS, but Vettel will be all over him like a cheap suit. I'm saying he'll win it simply because he absolutely has to and that's a huge motivator. As far as 'The Boss' nickname goes, . Hypocrites.

Where did these fuel numbers come from? They're not even posted on the FIA site yet.

They look calculated from Q3/Q2 times, not sure though as I didn't try to verify the calculation used.

As said, when the PDF turns up here we'll know the score.

I think Nico's lap was a bit of a freak and don't expect his advantage to be anything like the extrapolated one... however it's nice to dream :)

Oh no! Barrichelo crashed too early. He overdid his practice run in Q3. He should crash the car in the race after button has refueled.

From Autosport.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/78942

Pos Driver Weight (kg)
1. Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 660.5
2. Vettel Red Bull-Renault 651.0
3. Rosberg Williams-Toyota 657.5
4. Webber Red Bull-Renault 654.5
5. Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 655.5
6. Alonso Renault 658.0
7. Glock Toyota 660.5
8. Heidfeld BMW-Sauber 650.0
9. Kubica BMW-Sauber 664.0
10. Kovalainen McLaren-Mercedes 664.5
11. Nakajima Williams-Toyota 680.7
12. Button Brawn-Mercedes 683.0
13. Raikkonen Ferrari 680.5
14. Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari 678.0
15. Trulli Toyota 690.9
16. Sutil Force India-Mercedes 693.0
17. Alguersuari Toro Rosso-Ferrari 683.5
18. Fisichella Ferrari 678.5
19. Grosjean Renault 683.0
20. Liuzzi Force India-Mercedes 656.0

Looks like LH should walk this, KERS off the line and to defend any attack. Assuming the SC doesn't cock it up he'll be ok.

I actually think that Nico might finish in the top 2 if he can manage his tyres/beat vettel off the line.

According to weights posted on Noble's Twitter:

- Lewis has 660.5 (going to about lap 20 according to my calcuations)
- Vettel has 651 (lap 16)
- Rosberg has 657.5 (lap 19)
- Button has 683 (lap 29)

Image

So Vettel was going for pole on a light car.
Button is not dealing with the pressure at all.
Fair dues to Rosberg, that lap in Q2 was breathtaking!

The first guess is the only accurate one. This chart would have made the race very interesting though. But i knew something was off with the weights, no way rosberg would be that fast on 680kg.
For Sure!!
