Just listen to Jock Clear on the radio at the end of Q3.

Does anybody know why Webber aborted his last lap in Q3? I know Webber was like 10-15 seconds up the road from Rubens and Rubens only missed getting another lap by 3 seconds, so I don't see why Webber would have skipped a final lap on the drying track.

Wasn't webber ahead of Barichello?
I don't think he could have gotten more from the tyres, he was a little twitchy in the final lap.
Well i always said Barichello was a better driver overall than Button; he is more hungry for a WDC and has made good use of the last set of races, completely outshining his partner.
Much more dramatic to watch too.
For Sure!!

He said something about a mistake in the press conference, and how it is hard to string together 6 or so fast laps.

EDIT: here is the press conference, although I'm afraid it's for UK users only:

Ah, thanks MattF1. In the U.S. they didn't show Webber's final lap or the press conference...

thx for info(especially for a distance). but speed trap isn't maximum speed. it's comparable only, but certainly you know it. so we don't know maximum speeds.

Looks like Macca is relying HEAVILY ON KERS and dry conditons.

Heidfeld looks like he wants to ride the KERS wave into the midfield.

The Laps are very short so it seems like Mclaren are hoping to use this to get multiple passing attempts on the straights.
