i wonder why some of us watch f1? we seem to hate most of the drivers, if they win its luck, if they dont, they are pants

i am a bit of a lewis fan, but in reality, i find his rather exciting do or die driving, er, exciting!


i dont give a stuff, about what they say or do in the press, its more important, about how they drive


we talk here ( and other sites) how about it should of been done, i dont think the drivers have that much chance to decide whats going to happen, when,


lewis was upset, and voiced it too, whats wrong with that? Senna made a mistake in monaco, years ago, went off the track, and went off in a strop to his hotel room and did not speak to anyone for a day or two?

Oh no!! I made a typo and the Hamilton fans are getting all excited. Just watched a reply and I would have to say that Hamilton definately turned in on Webber. If only the gravel traps were actual traps Hamilton would not have got off easily.

Fair enough, everyone makes typos (Alonso vs Webber). But I really, seriously would love to know how Hamilton (the car in front) can "turn in" on Webber and then have Webber jam his front wing into the gearbox of LH and call this LH's fault? This is at the same time Hamilton is in the process of making a move on Alonso... I'm not really a huge LH fan, but I'm just calling it how I see it and also from the interview quotes how Webber, the stewards, and Hamilton saw it too..

it was misjudgement my Webbo IMO. He thought LH was going to pass outside and stayed too close. Then Webbo said he lost grip and could not stop

I wonder what was wrong with Webber's driving according to the stewards. It's not like he drove up LH's arse because he just forgot to brake or anything. Hamilton just made a mistake racing Alonso and slowed unexpectedly and happened to be on the way of the Red Bull car. Did stewards basically reprimand Webber for following 2 other cars and waiting for his chance to pass? Surely that wasn't 'avoidable contact'??

PS: according to Anthony Davidson at Radio5 live it was a "hard fart"

It looks like Webber decided to go through the inside as he thought Hamilton would continue around the outside of Alonso, only for Hamilton to repent and slow down a bit too much, thus leading to the accident, IMO.

It's a simple race accident, too bad Hamilton repented and Webber fully trusted what he thought Hamilton was going to do. Webber had an opportunity but the door was quickly closed.

You could argue that Webber should have left more space but then again this is racing and it should be as tight as possible especially when about to overtake.

Dude, the only part of Webber's car that got beside Hamilton were the bits that didn't go under the gearbox.

Webber has apologised to Lewis for the accident. That should really be the end the story.

Stop trolling.

What this does show is that the McLarens, RB and Ferrari's are pretty well evenly matched in race conditions. Some tracks will suit some cars more than others but it should be a pretty tight season.

I think Vettel in the RB has driven so far faultlessly.
If Webber can just settle down a bit and get a better handle on the car, they should be unbeatable.
The RB6 is a better car than the others at present and should remain so for next week.
Of course if it rains and if something else breaks who knows.

I agree, Red Bull is the best car by some way still. Webber is just not that good a driver IMO. He will do OK in a couple of races like last year but generally he will waste a great car

Yep, we could have had a good race at the front, but I think Vettel had the pace to control the race. Would have been nice to see it unfold.
