Quite true...Imagine that thing falling apart on the left hand turn sequence before the finish line?...He was lucky to get that car back home.WhiteBlue wrote:
Webber is such a lucky S**. He was half a second slower than Vettel in the same car all weekend. He profited twice from the safety car to make up all the time he lost and when he risked a collision he got away without a puncture on this damaged wheel. An incredible story. He must have a contract with lady luck to have her crap all over his competitors.
Did the first SC feel like kinda not necessary to you? Maybe they lacked a crane there though...WhiteBlue wrote:

To me it was clear it would happen asap. I think it's not worth talking about, because Petrov is not the driver you need to secretly instruct to let pass his teammate.raymondu999 wrote:And are we enraged by the Kubica pass on Petrov yet?
Right. And if Petrov wants to save his chances for staying Renault or just Formula One driver he should not race his teammate, who needs points to get past Rosberg in the WDC table.raymondu999 wrote:Seems to be ingrained in the Renault culture somehow. They always have a patsy number 2 to support a quicker guy.
No his style changes according to what he wants from the car, it's the car's relative position to the other cars.raymondu999 wrote:
Has anyone noticed that Lewis has seemingly reverted back to his 2007 days in terms of driving style? I noticed earlier on this year that he changed in terms of driving style, to a car that is pointy, but not necessarily having the tail scamper about. But in Qualifying you saw the old aggression on the wheel back, having to apply opposite lock quite a few times.

Nick and Kamui presumably were in the same mode. Nicks fastest lap was in lap 29, Kamui didn't beat it. And both were racing Schumacher, that didn't look like saving fuel.raymondu999 wrote:Errm... not really. Kamui had a DNF after lap 30, when he had 31 more laps of fuel on board. You don't know if they're saving fuel, or tyres, etc
They couldn't be on the same strategy if they were on different tyres, it seems you didn't watch the race so let me tell you, Kamui was kinda stuck behind Michael who was sleeping early in the race guess the crash waked him up later and let he get 4th fastest time, Plus Kamui's tyres were gone and he couldn't pit then or he would lose too much in the pits hence he had to try get past Michael and push.Intego wrote:Nick and Kamui presumably were in the same mode. BTW Kamui had the option tyres, Nick was on prime.
EDIT: I remember that after the free practices Nick said that the car wasn't balanced well on options ...
