That is a man taking it with grace. I mean he did 40 laps behind him, he was frustrated, give him some slack he just lost the WDC FFS
You post frustrates me my friend. Your double standard makes me cringe. Had it been Vettel or Hamilton especially, who behaved like Alonso today, you'd have been all over it.
Really? And waving hands is now reason to berate a driver?
It was heat of the moment and he certainly said nothing ill of Ferrari for calling him in early...as No doubt Hamilton would have.
More could have been done.

Lets just spare a thought for Massa. The race he should have won and was faster than Alonso, he was forced by the team to pull over. All for nothing.

Who has berated him? And is this the first time he's done that? He's done it to his team mate at a time when there was less at stake. Don't even start it. One driver is synonymous with that sort of behaviour. You tell us

I sensed a stupid strategy as soon as alonso entered the pit

he could go on and risk loing position to MW, or pit and lose position against two cars that have already pitted, one of them really really fast on the straights (even LH couldn't pass the other renault either)

I read this: they wanted massa to pass webber in the pitstop and thus defend alonso, but couldn't make it happen, and got fixated on the "we can't let webber pass us" side of the argument, while the real thing was "we have to come 4th"

really really dumb

and great strategic move from the red bulls: choose two very different tactics, so that alonso can't defend against both at the same time, but have to take a risk whatever they do

Congratulations to Vettel! He deserved it, though I feel Ferrari let Alonso down with the very poor strategy.

Unreal, Vettel was once again the class act today. The kid made a bold move in turn one and never looked back. He managed his tires at the start, capitalized on LH pit and completely out-paced his team mate. I was really hoping for him to make the comeback he deserved after all his car reliability issues, and his did just that.

JB: I have ripped him up over the year, but credit where credit is due, he had a former WDC drive today.

MW: You had the car under you what happened? Alonso made how many mistakes and you where nowhere. This is exactly why RB did not ask SV to move over last race. I agreed with RB call not to do so last weekend, and thank god they did.

VP: Awesome! All year you have been cracking under pressure but today with a double WDC behind you kept it together.

Vettel is the new F1 champ not Alonso. He did it exactly in Kimi 2007 style winning from behind. But do feeling bad for WB

oh, and, by the way: I'm a spaniard, and I was rooting for alonso all the way, but congratulations to the red bulls, they deserve these great results: they really built the best car, with a lot of very innovative concepts, while everybody else just copied them throughout the whole season (the only exception being macca's blown wing, which I wouldn't mind to see banned for the next year, given how ackward operating it can be)

Its easy to call it a "poor strategy" call now seeing how LH and SV were able to recover from the graining, that's called hindsight. At that point in the race it would have looked like moving to the primes was a good idea since it would have seemed that staying out on the options would just equate to losing time and track position after a late pitstop. What would have happened had the options not recovered? LH and SV would then out for another lap on inferior tires while the rest of the field got on the primes a lap early, giving them greater pace and likely jumping SV and LH.

Did we have podiums of sucessive champions?
1st: Vettel, 2010 WDC.
2nd: Hamilton, 2008 WDC.
3rd: Button, 2009 WDC.

I feel sorry for Webber. I guess that the luck was not at his side again.

What engine make was it in those cars of Petrov's and Kubica's anyway?

But seriously, the individual being most unhappy with today's result must be MrE, imagine having that guy, finger, face and hairdo, as ambassador for F1 over an entire year?
