The L shaped fins under the nose are also new and more RedBullesque

Edit: no they are the same.

That's just ugly...not MP4-26 sidepods ugly...but ugly...
ahem - there's something much more interesting at the back.

Impressive to see Ferrari copying the RB exhaust already.

They haven't copied the key aspect though. The RB exhaust blows a cut out in the floor plate so that the exhaust can go under the floor and through the diffuser. The Ferrari method appears to just blow across the top of the floor plate and over the diffuser.

Which method is best is yet to be seen...

In that picture though, I can't see a definite end to the duct.

what I can see however is a bulge in the top section of the diffusor. Could Ferrari be ducting the exhaust all the way to the back of the diffusor?

If so, would that be good?

You can see the end of the exhaust pipe here:

These sidepod openings are insanely tiny! quite a departure from last year as i remeber one of the pitfalls of the engine was that it was quite heavy on heat generation.

Could be what enabled Torro rosso to do the double floor, freed up some space in the side pods for the double floor underneath it.

Also look at the fron of the floor in this pic.

im not going to say doulbe floor yet but that wasnt there in the launch version.
could there be a channel that links the front of the floor to the exaust at the back of the car?

I see the pitot fin is in the down position. What could it usefully measure like that?

... or was there a low bridge?

Low bridge. If it were done intentionally, Massa wouldn't have been reaching up like that, wondering WTF is going on..

They're trying to measure the flow from the exhaust blown cockpit.
