Sebastian Vettel pulled off a brilliant win at Barcelona after remaining faultless despite inpressive late pressure by Lewis Hamilton. Vettel struggled with KERS but kept his head cool without making a single mistake. Jenson Button made it to third position with a three stop strategy.

When interviewed Button said he had a very good lap. Alonso deserves credit for putting together a great lap. Michael Schumacher is the one with a brand new set of softs + he has free choice on tyres to use for the start of the race-eg he can use a sticker set of prime tyres to go into the race.Did someone see the grin in his face when asked how many fresh sets of tyres he still has?.. maybe it´s time for the first podium for Mercedes ...as both drivers are raving about their race pace.bomz_za wrote:Are any of the top 10 keeping a set of soft's for the race?

On the contrary, we're likely to see him drop positions on the start – he'll likely start on hards. That'll put him out of sync, and in clean air to use his extra set of softs. Problem for Nando in previous races was getting caught in traffic early in the race due to grid position + poor starts. Ferrari race pace has generally been quite good, certainly up there with Mclaren. Podium is too much. Good strategy and using your tyres well can only help you so much.
