Beyond that, how is a 2 3 better than a 3 2 from a team point of view. It's utter bollocks and utterly hypocritical from Red Bull who have criticised others in the past for using team orders. This was all about Vettel's ego - he lost on track today to two faster drivers, in my view.Gerhard Berger wrote:eddie jordan what a hpypocite...
how so?dave34m wrote:Some sense from EJ for once
They could just have easily said to Vettel that Webber was quicker so let him past - same result for the team, would have done more to help Webber in the drivers championship as he actually needs the points. But that would have upset the boy wonder so couldn't be allowed to happen.dave34m wrote:Some sense from EJ for once
It really is kinda pathetic, the way WB comes up with this crap , no?Goran2812 wrote:Alonso would have won despite the red bull screw up,clearly the fastest man out there today...WhiteBlue wrote:Alonso wins thanks to the FiA and Red Bull screwing up a stop. Amazing that Schumacher still collected points on P9.
So, you'd rather think that Vettel finished second because he maybe had a bad set of tires or had to save fuel, than admit he and his car just weren't fast enough today...?
Exactly. Plus realistically speaking, Vettel will be world champion.myurr wrote:Beyond that, how is a 2 3 better than a 3 2 from a team point of view. Yep, could have but didnt. Either would have correct, you just can't have your driver hit each other there, they would have looked stupidmyurr wrote:They could just have easily said to Vettel that Webber was quicker so let him past - same result for the team, would have done more to help Webber in the drivers championship as he actually needs the points. it is possible for them to race without coming together.dave34m wrote:Yep, could have but didnt. EBD is very important in the fast corners, but off throttle blowing isn't.Lorenzo_Bandini wrote:WhiteBlue wrote:Alonso wins thanks to the FiA and Red Bull screwing up a stop. Ferrari win because their car was the fastest.
On S2, Ferrari car was nearly one second faster than anybody, i don't think the EBD is important in high speed corner..
Doubt Ferrari would have been that quick if the ban wasnt in place...Ferrari win because their car was the fastest.

depends on how the driver uses the throttle no?myurr wrote:EBD is very important in the fast corners, but off throttle blowing isn't.Lorenzo_Bandini wrote:WhiteBlue wrote:Alonso wins thanks to the FiA and Red Bull screwing up a stop.
