Vettel settles for 3rd......RB settling for a conservative race indeed.....

I forgot, but there's probably just a 2 lap difference between their pitstops. At least this got interesting...

Or maybe that was just Button taking it easy as he just put the fastest lap of the race.

Good race :-) congrats seb and jb, but how was this more interesting than a race where vettel wins? Mclaren best car this weekend, button deserved winner. Just that it wasn't vettel winning was different ;)

Congrats to Button for the win. Good race, mature, fast.

Congrats to Vettel with his 2nd WDC. A stellar season and one that showed what to do when you have the best car. Take off, lead, and win.

At the few times he was expected to be slower, he got pole and still dominated for the most part.

Sebastian Vettel, double world champion!!! Now that's what I'm talking about!!!! All through the season he has shown that he deserves it and eventually he has it. 8)

Wow, that was interesting. Jenson ran out of fuel just as he crossed the finish line. Seems like he was saving fuel.

Anyways, a well deserved vitory for him and a well deserved championship for Vettel.

He likely shut down to ensure there was enough in the car when scrutinized otherwise its a DQ I think.

Was that final 2 laps from JB due to pushing the fuel mix? He found a second out of almost nowhere. Congratulations to SV for winning the title officially finally. Would've been amazing for him to clinch it in super style and get a Grand Chelem; but it wasn't to be.

Also; why don't more cars/drivers fuel 1 lap less for the weight benefit; and do kind of what Button did? If it's legal surely more teams can do it?

Congrats to JB for his first dry victory in a McLaren

It's not really 1 lap of fuel – it's one lap of cruising. Button must have been *seriously* margional too, because he had 5 laps of safety car cruise to help him along.

Good race, good win from Button. Congrats Seb Vettel, the youngest ever double world champion. Alonso, what a race from him.

I've never seen Hamilton so soundly beaten by a team mate. It won't be easy to take for him. Can he ever recover with these tyres ?

He had a puncture as well mind you unrelated to his contact with Massa.

Hamilton had a puncture? I didn't see that. When was that?

I think what's clear now is that the McLaren is faster than the Red Bull in race trim; looks after their tyres better; AND can still turn on the option and primes just as fast.
