Very disapointing day for lewis, for the first time since i can remember he just didnt have the pace at all, maybe after the puncture he subconsciously gave up in a way, typical given the season he's had to pick that puncture up, kinda of messed up his strategy, he needs to get some momentum to start next year with, people dont realise how powerfull the mind is even in motor racing

There's been a few races this year where he's just simply not been able to make the tyre last, I think that's all we saw today.

And not for the first time he seems to be unable to see cars on his left side.

He did comment after the race that he couldn't see in his mirrors due to vibration... A bit odd though – you would have thought he would have heard the car there.

It's a shame the BBC didn't interview Massa after the race – I would have loved to have laughed at him raging about it.

 I find it strange though that someone of his calibre can make such an unforced error...

Open letter to Lewis:

Dear Lewis,
Sign the contract first.... then you'll get first treatment.. or maybe.... inside the team already know where is your destination next year.....

Wow. JB wins but Lewis says he didn't have any grip? That has to be a first, hasn't it?

Why does signing the contract equal getting first treatment?

Congrads to Vettel!

I told you not to write off Ferrari! I missed the last part of the race but it seems Fred came close to winning it!

As for LH, what can I say - yes he did it again! And seems to have lost his 0.3s on Button and Vettel!!!

To be honest, I don't think Fred actually had the pace to win today. It just seems like JB had serious fuel issues at the end and Vettel was told to take it easy and just finish.

Not saying that he doesn't have the skill, but he just doesn't have the car. Though hands down he did an amazing job today to take 2nd when clearly McLaren and Red Bull were the faster package.

Agree with Aced. Button drove very conservatively towards the end.

I don't follow... 1) Lewis already has a contract for next year 2) Why would it mean he would get treated as number 1 driver – McLaren have a very clear no No 1 driver policy.

What do you think the difference is?

Perhaps he's worried that McLaren will suddenly focus around Jenson because he just signed a multi-year deal with them. That's very unlikely even though, to some, that could start sounding reasonable. Jenson hasn't been getting any different treatement, it's just Lewis has been --- out of luck lately(this year).
