On the final day of winter testing at Jerez de la Frontera, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was the fastest man on track despite spending quite some time in the garage due to car problems. The Spaniard was followed by Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.

The new exhausts have not been thoroughly track tested and McLaren probably cut those slits in the bulge fairings in order to minimise the possibility of overheating and catastrophic failure.Holm86 wrote:WTF is going on with those slits in the mclaren exhaust bulges??
