thats very close to the best time today, very good for Force India
Yep. =D>

Also, Massa is currently bouncing in and out of the pits like a jack in the box. Not done one flyer in the last 6 out laps? :wtf: Just out and back in 6 or even 7 times now!

100kph in first gear ?
to the optimist a glass is half full ; to the pessimist a glass is half empty ; to the F1 engineer the glass is twice as big as it needs to be

Not from the times but we can conclude a few things:

Kimi is back and not hanging about.
Good amount of laps look promising for TR, Sauber, Ferrari, Lotus and FI.
RB and McLaren need to get out on track more.
At least it's not raining.
Good chance to get a proper look at the cars.

Because that's what the rules say.

Well yes, that was made clear. But what is the reasoning behind it? Not a rule for the sake of it surely?

For decreasing the speed at start before the 1st corner, I suppose. This is one of the thousands of question I'd like to ask to FIA.

Probably teams were using clever clutch action during upshift as some sort of launch control.
