Red Bull RB8 Renault

Parties in Jerez state the RB8 was suffering massively from understeer. Webber had difficulties in the high speed corners.

So we have a poster above who says it's unstable on corner entry; and now despite losing a chunk of rear downforce they're understeery? :?

just fooling the other teams perhaps? I can't imagine the RB which was so good over the last few years to have a sudden flaw

i noticed on the photo above the part next to where the diffuser begins..last year it was a triangle to produce turbulence turning the air inside the diffuser...this year looks like a bat wing..any one know why that is?

Well, being both unstable on entry and understeery on full throttle is not exactly rare. But I wouldn't read much into it.

Is just me or is the most rearward wishbone arm getting toasted? Close to where it mounts onto the gearbox.

Ferrari. 2005.

Woha, check the rear suspension. No double wishbone, it is a single top wishbone that is partway branched to a second arm that connects to the bottom side of the upright!

One more image to confirm it:

Awesome, more developments and another expected trick in the bag from RBR! That must really help the aero at the back, I wonder how well the suspension work. Will be interesting to see!

Look at the lower of the two wishbones – it's not wishbone shaped - it's just a single bar.

I think I was wrong.. I think the lower wishbone is still there. It's just further rearward and very small. What do you guys see?

I see the lower wishbone only having a single support, not two – i.e. a bone – not a wishbone.
