Panic not, day one of proper testing with other cars around.

Everyone else has already run their cars for 4 days.

RB already said there are a number of exhaust options to test and they will do this in the coming days etc.

Testing is meant to undercover failures, that's why it's testing and not racing.

Obvious reliability issues. Track time is important & Mercedes wont get a lot of time to work on setup issues as the others.

Missing the 1st test is always a disadvantage especially if you dont have a HUGE Secret Innovation. I hope Mercedes can overcome that disadvantage.

Anyways car looks good. Car looks quick. Michael's long runs were fantastic for the 1st day. Maybe they were running on the lighter side but the long runs still looked great though. The car will improve atleast slightly with time.

Mercedes already had one full day of testing. This is technically their second test day.

I think we'll see the car's real potential in the final test. as this car is new, they only cover reliability testing and gathering data, also comparing the tyre data between w02 and w03.

Unfortunately those are not openings. Enlarge the photo and you will see that it is a combination of heat testing tape and black tape.

You don't hear people with donwtown dialects presenting the news in other countries? His accent is not even that bad - the man just muffles his words too much. Need some speech lessons - so lazy and slouchy.. I'll take a stuttering Adrian Newey or a Hissing Ascanelli any day over this guy!

On a good note, of all the running we did today, we did not use DRS, which in Barcelona is worth around a second per lap.
