We can't say that. For all we know Vettel could have been on his last lap of fuel. Also Hamilton will have 4 laps more deg on his tyres by then.

IIRC, the commutator on Sky was saying that Vettel was suppose to pit on that same lap to switch to low fuel run, just like Webber did.

For Webber, he came out with his low fuel option on lap 16, did his quickest time on lap 18 and finish on lap 20.

For Hamilton, his quickest lap was done on the very last lap of the whole session, which is lap 18.

thanks for the link. Can actually see that both Mclaren and Redbull are running similar qualifying program for both their drivers.

All sandbags are now off. Here's hoping a Merc or two can make it inside the front two rows. [-o<
Ultimately, it may all come down to whoever among those top drivers will be the last to get a clean fast lap in just before the checkered flag falls. It'll probably be a crazy mad dash to beat the clock.

I would be up for completely flat bottoms, front to rear, with no undercuts, smaller wings, and fatter tires with huge slip angles. Kobayashi would rule - sideways!
